11th Annual Faith, Food, and Farms Conference

Interfaith Food’s Annual Faith, Food, & Farms Conference will be on Wednesday, June 11th, 2025.

Our 11th Annual Conference comes to the Peninsula for the first time! The conference will be hosted at CZI Community Space (801 Jefferson Ave, Redwood City, CA 94063) on Wednesday, June 11th from 1:45pm to 7:30pm.

Join secular and faith based leaders advancing food security, community resilience, and sustainable agriculture. Event includes: 

  • Interactive workshop sessions with local and national speakers
  • Network opportunities with collaborative dialogue
  • Delicious and locally sourced meal
  • Tours of local sites that put their facilities to use to create food access

$80 Registration Fee. Includes delicious, locally sourced dinner. No one turned away due to lack of funds!

Sonoma & Marin County Farms & Gardens on Faith Community Land Focus Group February 15, 2023

Faith leaders from Sonoma and Marin County convened for a focus group on farms and gardens on faith community land. We welcomed congregational representatives to the farm next to Christ Church United Methodist in Santa Rosa at 10:00 am February 15 for a tour and discussion of challenges and successes faith groups encounter when running a farm or garden on faith-community land.


North Bay Food and Farms Forum September 8th, 2023, Petaluma

The progressive food and agricultural community gathered to get to know the two candidates for the 12th District state assembly seat, Sara Aminzadeh​ and Damon Connolly- in this non-partisan, educational forum, which provided an opportunity to educate the candidates on important policy issue that directly impact our local farms, food system, farm workers, land, water, environment and communities.

Soil Not Oil Gathering Sept. 17th, 2023 @ 9AM Farmers, environmental activists, and farmworker organizations came together to found the Soil Not Oil Conference in 2015. Our main focus is to educate about soil solutions to climate change by highlighting the importance of agro-ecological and Organic farming practices, as well as addressing and supporting environmental justice at all levels.
